Welcome To Surrogacy Events Ireland

On Saturday, 8th February, we will host our first Surrogacy event.

We are delighted to be able to offer you a FREE information event covering all aspects of Domestic Surrogacy.

We wish to invite couples who are interested in Irish surrogacy; couples and surrogates already thinking of or committed to their own Irish Surrogacy journey; and for the first time in Ireland invite along any women who seek information on becoming a surrogate.

Our guest speakers will be able to provide us with a complete understanding of our journey.

Annette Hickey will explain the current legal situation to the new proposed AHR Legislation. Dr. John Kennedy will help us understand the medical requirements of a Surrogacy Journey from both the Couple and Surrogates perspective. Becky Loftus has been through her own fertility journey and last year was a surrogate for her friends. She will go into detail about the special relationship between a couple and a surrogate and how this relationship will be dealt with under the new Legislation.

On the day we will be joined by surrogacy families who will also share their experiences.

This will be a very private and relaxed environment, all speakers and friends will be around for a Q&A at the end over a cuppa.

If you have a specific question, please click the button to get in touch.

What Will Be Discussed?

We understand, through our own experiences, that choosing Surrogacy as an alternative route to fertility is not a decision to be taken lightly. We also know that anyone considering Surrogacy will understandably be nervous and not really know what to do next. They will have a long list of questions and searching for as many answers as possible before taking the next step.

As a result of our own experiences with Surrogacy in Ireland, we decided to set up Surrogacy Events Ireland as a way to bring interested people together to find out more about the process and what is involved.

We would like this event to be a forum for people to come together and hear from those who have been through the process along with who work in the area, such as medical practitioners and legal experts.

We want to create a friendly and caring environment whereby anyone considering surrogacy can come along and have their questions answered by people who have been there and know what they are talking about.

We also believe that this information should be widely available and as such this event will be free for anyone wanting to attend.
